Clemson Notes:

  • Clemson’s 2017 roster is made up of one junior, five sophomores and two freshmen.
  • Daniela Ruiz (Beni, Bolivia) is the lone junior on the team, as well as the lone upperclassman and team captain.
  • Two Tigers are ranked in the ITA singles rankings released on Jan. 4, 2017. Sophomore Ayan Broomfield (Toronto) is 40th and sophomore Marie-Alexandre Leduc (Saguenay, Quebec) is 84th.
  • Broomfield and Leduc are also ranked 44th in the nation as a doubles duo.
  • Head Coach Nancy Harris begins her 20th season with the Tigers on Saturday. In her first 19 seasons at the helm of the program, Harris has taken the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament 17 times, including 15-consecutive years from 2002-16.
