CLEMSON, S.C. – No. 31 Clemson Tigers (12-6, 2-4 ACC) dominated ACC foe Boston College (5-12, 1-6 ACC), 4-0 on Friday at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility.

The Tigers took an early lead with two wins from freshman duos on courts one and two. No. 43 ranked duo Candela Yecora and Romana Cisovska handled business by claiming the first doubles win against Seren Agar and Nada Dimovska, 6-0. The No. 80 ranked duo of Gaia Parravicini and Amelie Smejkalova quickly followed with a win over Alexandra Torre and Tola Glowacka, 6-2.
With the Tigers up 1-0, Smejkalova extended the lead with a dominant win on court two in singles. Smejkalova defeated Olivia Benton, 6-1, 6-2. Following shortly after, Parravicini took down Nada Dimovska, 6-3, 6-2 to continue the Tigers dominance.
Freshman Artemis Aslanisvili secured the sweep for Clemson, with a win over Nadia Barteck, 7-6 (4), 6-0 and brought her singles record to 8-3. Aslanisvili leads the Tigers in singles wins.
Up next, the Tigers are back at home against No. 67 Syracuse at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility at noon on Sunday, March 23. The promotion for Sunday’s match is Alumni and Professor Appreciation day.
