All camp sessions will be coached by the Clemson Women’s Rowing staff, including two-time Olympian, Olympic medalist, and U.S National Team coach (Olympics, U23 World Championships, and Paralympic team), head coach Adrienne Martelli.
Descriptions of each session are below.
TIGER FOUNDATIONS: Rowers and Coxswains of all experience levels
Two sessions to choose from:
- Tiger Foundations 1: Monday, June 2 – Friday, June 6
- Tiger Foundations 2: Sunday, June 8 – Thursday, June 8
This camp is designed for female athletes of all experience levels, novice to experienced (minimum age of 14). This is primarily an overnight camp, with a day-only option for campers who may be close to home. Campers will stay on campus in Clemson University dorms and eat in Clemson dining halls. Two sessions available. Open to rowers and coxswains (max of 5 coxswains).
TIGER PERFORMANCE: Rowers and Coxswains with one year or more of Varsity-level experience
Date: Sunday, July 27 – Friday, August 1
This camp is designed for high-school aged female athletes with at least one year of rowing experience at the varsity level on their team and who are 15 years or older. Instruction will be primarily in small boats (pairs), so registration is limited to 20 rowers and 3 coxswains. This is an overnight camp and there are no day-only options.
The purpose of this camp is to really hone in on the ability to row small boats efficiently and translate that skill into larger boats. While most of the work will be on the water, there will also be instruction on the erg, in the weight room, and via video review.
*All Camps are open to any and all entrants and is limited only by age, grade level, or gender.*
