Clemson Women’s Tennis To Begin Play In USTA Collegiate Event On Saturday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s tennis team will continue its 2005 fall season at the USTA National Tennis Center Women’s College Tennis Invitational from Oct. 7-8 in New York City. Tigers Federica van Adrichem and Maria Brito are coming off of Flight Championships at the Furman Fall Classic and enter the weekend tournament with 3-0 records.

Clemson is one of 20 teams participating in the three-day event that includes four singles flights and two doubles flights. Matches will begin at 8:30 AM each day at the USTA National Tennis Center, which also hosts the US Open every year.
