Clemson is one of four schools – the others are Auburn, Iowa and Oregon State – that is vying for the award. Visit www.pontiac.com/ncaa to vote for Adams’ caused fumble, recovery, and 66-yard return for a touchdown against the Demon Deacons and help the Tigers earn an additional $100,000 general scholarship award from Pontiac.

Down 14 points in the fourth quarter, Clemson pulled out an amazing comeback 27-17 win over undefeated Wake Forest. Clemson defensive lineman Gaines Adams caused a fumble after a mishandled snap on a field-goal attempt recovered the ball and returned it 66 yards for the score on the first play of the fourth quarter… a true game-changing performance that ignited the rally, swinging momentum back to the Tigers.

For the past two weeks, fans voted and each week the three schools with the lowest votes were eliminated. The top four finalists, including Clemson, were announced on December 21st. Voting for the top four begins now and the winner of the $100,000 scholarship will be announced during halftime of the BCS National Championship Game.

Now more than ever, students, fans and alumni need to show their support by going to www.pontiac.com/ncaa to vote for the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Year. Remember, fans must vote to help the Tigers earn $100,000 for the general scholarship fund.
