Justin Miller capped a tremendous true-freshman season by picking off his eighth pass in the 2002 Tangerine Bowl. With the pick, he tied the Clemson single-season record for interceptions set by Robert O’Neal in 1989. The Owensboro, KY native led the ACC in interceptions and kickoff returns on his way to a unanimous freshman All-American season. Miller accomplished that with just seven starts on defense.
