CVMSDC, BMW Minority Supplier Conference, SPIRO Entrepreneurship Session

The Arthur M. Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership provides economic, educational and research opportunities for Clemson students. In the fall of 2018, between the numerous time commitments of our students, team leaders attended a seminar hosted by the Spiro Institute to learn about the processes of LLC creation and other business ventures. Featuring a presentation by John Hannon and Dean Sol, the seminar enabled these influential men to share their business experiences and field questions on best practices in various industries. The transferable skills of football scholar-athletes proved to be complementary in growing an entrepreneurial spirit.

Beyond educational sessions, P.A.W. Journey provides opportunities for our entrepreneurial leaders to connect with other business leaders for mentorship and professional networking. From attending the annual BMW Supplier Diversity Conference, to hosting the Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council, our students are exposed to the various types of business and resources available. P.A.W. Journey commits to the aspirations of each scholar-athlete and creates pathways for business pedagogy.
