Clemson, SC – On Monday, Clemson safety John Leake will drop by to take your questions leading up to Saturday’s (Nov. 3) Bowden Bowl III matchup vs. Florida State (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC).
Last season Leake, a sophomore from Plano, Texas, played on special teams only in 2000 and earned a letter as a first-year freshman. He was the only defensive player to earn a letter as a first-year freshman. He was fifth on the team in special teams tackles with nine, second among freshmen.
Leake came to Clemson as a linebacker after totaling 140 tackles and 10 sacks as a senior in high school. He was the first Clemson signee from Texas since 1991 and the last signee in the class of 2000. Leake also had 900 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns as a running back his senior year as well.
