GAMEDAY TIMELINE

CLEMSON VS. FLORIDA ATLANTIC - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

– Death Valley will host its first prime-time game of the 2023 season on Saturday, Sept. 16, when the Clemson Tigers host the Florida Atlantic Owls. Kickoff at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, S.C., is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.

– Clemson is 45-15-1 all-time in night games at Memorial Stadium. That includes a 21-3 record under the Death Valley lights in Dabo Swinney’s tenure. Clemson has not lost a prime-time game at home since October 2013.

– Clemson is one of two teams in the country to rank in the Top 10 in both total offense (550.5 yards per game, 7th) and total defense (223.5, T-8th). Clemson’s defense vaulted into the Top 10 after surrendering only 73 yards and four first downs a week ago. After two games, Clemson ranks ninth in the nation in pass defense (118.0 yards per game) following a season in which the Tigers ranked 76th nationally at 231.7 yards allowed per game in 2022.

WOODLAND CEMETERY

Woodland Cemetery remains closed as construction continues to reroute existing walkways, upgrade service drives, and add security and accessibility enhancements while honoring the lives of all who are buried there.

Fans parking on the south and east sides of the stadium, and those planning to enter Gate 16 on the south side of the stadium should allow additional time to enter Memorial Stadium. The Clemson Athletic Department is making every effort to ensure fans can enter and exit the stadium safely and expeditiously.

We request your continued patience as cemetery construction continues and appreciate your reverence and respect of all who are buried at Woodland. We will keep you updated on the construction progress over the coming weeks.

We look forward to improved accessibility and safety at Woodland Cemetery once the work is complete.

PEDESTRIAN SAFETY

Pedestrian safety is of utmost importance in our parking lots and roadways. When tailgating, please be considerate of those who park near you, and allow ample space for pedestrian and vehicular access around your space in roadways and sidewalks. For those exiting the stadium via Williamson Rd., it is recommended to use the sidewalk along the west side (the side closest to the stadium), as it is more accessible to pedestrian traffic. As always, please follow all signage and directions from security and law enforcement officials.

GATHERING AT THE PAW

Gathering at the Paw is a unique Clemson tradition. Clemson has seen an increase in incidents that have created unsafe conditions for our guests and staff. Fans are asked to enter the field at the Hill gate or in the ramps in the west, and asked NOT to jump over the walls.
