Enter the ACC’s Get LOUD Football Sweepstakes

GREENSBORO, NC – The Atlantic Coast Conference opened the gates to this year’s ACC Football Sweepstakes “Get LOUD” on Friday, October 1. Participants may enter through an online form located on the league’s website, www.theACC.com/LOUD.

The “Get LOUD” Sweepstakes began at midnight Thursday, September 30 and will close at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, November 15, 2010.

Fans who visit www.theACC.com/LOUD will have the opportunity to register for the “Get LOUD” sweepstakes, a unique chance to win prizes related to the 2010 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship on December 4 in Charlotte, N.C., the Discover Orange Bowl, which is the “Home of the ACC Champion,” as well as all other seven league bowl partner games.

Each week during the contest period 12 winners will be randomly selected and will receive an “LOUD” music video DVD, an ACC iPhone application download, an ACC “Get LOUD” t-shirt, and a Bridgette Tatum autographed CD, collectively making up the “Get Loud” weekly Prize Pack.

Prior to the season, the league unveiled this year’s ACC football season theme song, “LOUD.” The song, performed by Nashville songwriter and recording artist Tatum, will air throughout the season on Raycom Sports broadcasts. Tatum, who will travel to several ACC games throughout the season, performing at local clubs as well as tailgate gatherings for alumni and football fans, will perform at FanFest of the 2010 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship celebration on Dec. 4 in Charlotte.

Twelve first-place prize winners, one representative of each of the ACC’s 12 member institutions, will be randomly selected at the conclusion of the contest period and will receive, in addition to the “Get Loud” Prize Pack, a Championship Prize Pack, which includes an autographed mini-helmet by their team’s head football coach, two tickets to the 2010 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game and two tickets to their schools’ respective bowl game (if applicable).

The two first-place winners representing the participating teams in the 2010 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game will also be provided a weekend Championship experience, including round-trip airfare, entertainment opportunities and the chance to get the same experience for the 2011 Discover Orange Bowl on Jan. 3 in at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.
