• Clemson’s last game at Wake Forest in 2012 also was a Thursday night contest on ESPN. Clemson won that game by a score of 42-13. Five Tiger offensive skill players (Jaron Brown, Martavis Bryant, Andre Ellington, DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins), who saw action in the game, are now playing in the NFL.
• Clemson has won five meetings in a row over the Demon Deacons. Wake Forest’s last win in the series came in 2008 (12-7) in Winston-Salem.
