Clemson Voted Fifth in Pre-Season ACC Poll

ATLANTA, Ga.–The Florida State Seminoles have been voted as overwhelming favorites to repeat once again as ACC Football Champions.

The results, as voted by the members of the media at the ACC Football Kickoff Weekend, list the Seminoles as a unanimous choice to finish atop the conference standings with North Carolina and Virginia selected in the second and third spots.

Georgia Tech was voted as the fourth place finisher with Clemson being the pre-season fifth place team.

Clemson opens the 1998 season September 5th hosting Furman. The Tigers first ACC contest is at Virginia on the 19th of September.
