Pregame–Clemson’s 1958 Sugar Bowl team will be honored.
Halftime–Clemson IPTAY Athlete of the Year for 1997-98 will be honored. Anthony Simmons will be presented the award. Simmons will not be able to attend as he is with the Seattle Seahawks. His family is in Pittsburgh to see him play this weekend. Former teammate Mond Wilson will accept the award on his behalf. Clemson’s Senior Platoon will perform at halftime.

Late Notes: Antwan Edwards was named ACC Defensive Back of the Week for his play against Virginia….T.J. Watkins, Clemson starting tight end, suffered a sprained knee in practice on Wednesday. His starting status will be determind after warmups…Defensive end Adrian Dingle, the ACC’s sack leader, did not practice Tuesday or Wednesday due to a sprained knee, but he is expected to play against Wake Forest.
