Clemson Football Players Participate in Spelling Bee Benefit

Clemson, SC – Clemson football players Michael Hamlin, Willy Korn and Barry Richardson participated in Leadership Clemson’s First Annual Area Spelling Bee on Tuesday, July 24. The event, which was held in Tillman Hall Auditorium on the Clemson campus, was held to benefit Helping Hands of Clemson. The goal of the Spelling Bee was to raise money to purchase a commercial-grade washer and dryer for the Helping Hands shelter.

Helping Hands is a non-profit, emergency shelter for abused and neglected children. Leadership Clemson is a program that encourages individual involvement in leadership roles within the Clemson community.
