Clemson, S.C.—Clemson is 21st in the first College Football Playoff ranking. The College Football Playoff Committee released its initial ranking on Tuesday evening. Clemson’s College Football Playoff Ranking is the same as its ranking in the Amway Coaches Poll and one spot higher than its #22 ranking by Associated Press.The Tigers have this weekend off and will resume play on Thursday night November 6 when Clemson travels to Winston-Salem, N.C. to face Wake Forest in a game that will be televised by ESPN. The Tigers have a 6-2 record so far this season with the only losses coming to Florida State and Georgia, two of the top 11 teams in the nation according to the College Football Playoff Ranking.
