McDaniel Named to Rivals.com Preseason All-America Team

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson safety DeAndre McDaniel has been named a first-team preseason All-American by Rivals.com. McDaniel has been named to the preseason teams published by Rivals.com, Lindy’s, Sporting News, Athlon, Playboy, Phil Steele, Blue Ribbon and national Champs.com during the preseason.

McDaniel is also on the preseason watch list for the Thorpe Award, the Bednarik Award and the Nagurski Award. He was ranked as the second best player in the ACC by ESPN.com.
