No. 12 Baylor Defeats Clemson, 7-0

WACO, Texas— The No. 12-ranked Baylor men’s tennis team won their fourth match in a row with a sweep over No. 27 Clemson on Monday, 7-0.

Clemson is now 1-3 this season, while Baylor is now 4-0.

For the fourth match in a row, Baylor started off by winning all three doubles matches. The Bears have now won 14 of 15 doubles matches this spring.

In the marquee match-up at No. 1 doubles, Baylor’s team of David Hodge and Mark Williams, ranked No. 6 in the country, held off Clemson’s team of Josh Goffi and Darren Knight, ranked No. 10.

The Bears followed their doubles wins by sweeping through singles, with only Pawel Gajdzik’s win being a runaway.
