WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The No. 23 Clemson Tigers (14-1, 3-0) tabbed their third conference win as they secured a 4-0 victory over Boston College (3-4, 0-3) on Friday afternoon in Weymouth.
The Tigers were quick to secure the doubles point as the pairing of Max Damm and Viktor Markov took a 6-3 victory on court two. Noa Vukadin and Max Smith closed out doubles by clinching the point for Clemson with a 6-2 win on court one.
Clemson continued to dominate in singles as three Tigers recorded singles victories to seal the 4-0 win. Finishing first was Romain Gales as he took down Boston College’s Mai Gao 6-3, 6-1 on court four, marking his seventh singles victory of the spring and his 15th of the 2024-25 season.
Freshman Edoardo Cherie Ligniere was the second Tiger to tab a singles win as he defeated Boston College’s Connor McDonald 6-2, 6-3 on court six for his fourth singles victory in a Clemson uniform. Clinching the match for Clemson was Vukadin as he took down Boston College’s Jake Vassel 6-3, 6-3 on court two.
