Ike Belk Advances to the Finals of the B Flight at Georgia Tech Invitational

Atlanta, GA–Three Clemson tennis players, Gera Boryachinskiy, Kevin Fleck and Ike Belk participated in the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational the weekend of October 6th with the following results:

Gera Boryachinskiy def. Terence Nugent (Auburn) 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 def. Chris Gilli (Furman) 6-3, 7-5. Ryan Farlow (Miss. St.) def. Boryachinskiy 6-4, 2-6, 6-3.

Marc Rocafort (MTSU) d. Kevin Fleck 7-5, 6-3 Josh Varella (Georgia) d. Kevin Fleck 6-0, 6-3.

Ike Belk, def. George Gvelesiani (Ga. Tech) 6-3,6-2 Def. Lukas Marsoun(Auburn) 6-3,6-2, Def. N. Podkrajsec (Ga State) seeded #4, 6-7(2),6-3,6-3 Def. L. Rassow-Kantor (Ga Tech) 6-3, 6-4 Adrian Szatmary (Nebraska) def. Belk 6-0, 6-0 in the finals.

Belk – Fleck lost in the 1st round A flight doubles to Alabama’s Myneni-Kindervater 8-6.

Consolation flight: Belk-Fleck def. Krnjetin-Maurillo (Auburn) 9-8(5). Clow-Van Impe (Nebraska) def. Belk-Fleck.
