Future Tiger Luke Johnson Qualifies and Wins First Round at Pro Circuit Event

CLEMSON, SC – Future Tiger Luke Johnson of Great Britain has earned a first round win at the Aegon GB Pro-Series Felixstowe Pro Circuit Event Tuesday after winning two rounds in the qualifying draw. Johnson’s first round victory came by defeating Tom Farquharson of Great Britain who is currently ranked #604 in the ATP World Rankings. Farquharson was a finalist in last week’s Pro Circuit event.  In the qualifying Johnson upended Matt Frost and Alexander Jhun both of Great Britain.  Jhun is currently ranked #1910 in the ATP World Rankings.

Johnson is a transfer from the University of Florida.
