Clemson Will Play Host to Men’s Tennis Double Header Saturday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team will play host to Southern Mississippi and Navy on Saturday at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center.

Clemson will play Southern Mississippi at 9:00 pm and Navy at 3:00 pm.

Clemson is now 8-0 on the year. This is the best start for the Tigers since the 2007 season when that team won nine matches to start the season. The Tigers are ranked 56th in the latest ITA rankings.

This will be the second meeting between Clemson and Southern Mississippi on the tennis courts. The Tigers lead the overall series 1-0. This will be the sixth meeting between Clemson and Navy in men¹s tennis. The Tigers lead the series 5-0. The two teams first met in 1965.

Kevin Galloway leads Clemson this season. He has an 11-6 record overall in singles and a 7-1 mark in dual match play.
