Clemson Will Play Host To Maryland Sunday

CLEMSON, SC-The Clemson men’s tennis team will play host to Maryland in an Atlantic Coast Conference match Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center.

Clemson has a 16-6 record overall and a 2-4 mark in the ACC. The Tigers are ranked 43rd nationally according to the latest ITA poll. Clemson is coming off a 5-2 win over Boston College on Friday afternoon.

Maryland has a 13-7 record overall and a 1-5 record in the ACC. Maryland is ranked 71st according to the latest ITA rankings.

This will be the 57th meeting between Clemson and Maryland on the tennis courts. The Tigers lead the overall series 42-14. The Tigers have won 33 of the last 34 matches between the two schools. The series began in 1954.
