Clemson Will Play Host to Maryland Friday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team will play host to Maryland in Atlantic Coast Conference action at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center at 2:30 p.m.

Clemson is now 6-8 overall this season and 2-1 in the ACC. The Tigers are ranked 63rd nationally according to the latest ITA poll. Maryland is 4-9 overall and 1-2 in the ACC.

The Tigers are coming off a 4-0 win over William & Mary on Wednesday evening.

This will be the 59th meeting between Clemson and Maryland on the tennis courts. The Tigers lead the overall series 43-15. The Tigers have lost just two matches to the Terrapins since 1977.

Clemson junior Yannick Maden is 22-5 this season in singles play. He and the Tigers will also play host to Boston College in ACC action on Sunday.
