CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men¹s tennis team will play host to 25th-ranked Wake Forest Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in Atlantic Coast Conference action.
Clemson has a 9-9 record overall and a 1-5 mark in the ACC. Wake Forest is ranked 25th nationally according to the latest ITA poll. The Deacons are 13-6 overall this season and 3-1 in the ACC.

The match will be the 65th meeting between the Tigers and Deacons. Clemson leads the overall series 42-22. Clemson leads the series in matches played at Clemson 22-6. The series began in the 1925 season as Wake Forest won the inaugural match 5-1.
The 2009 season marks the 100th year of men¹s tennis at Tigertown. Clemson first sponsored men¹s tennis in 1910 when two Tiger tennis players entered the annual state tournament. The first dual match Clemson played was in the 1921 season as the Tigers defeated Wofford 2-0 on April 28, in Spartanburg, SC.
