CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s soccer team will play host to Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) Monday night at 7:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.Clemson has a 1-2-2 record overall this season. The Tigers and 14th-ranked Wake Forest played to a 1-1 overtime tie Friday night.UAB has a 2-2-1 record overall. On Friday night, the Blazers lost to #8 New Mexico 2-0. Kofi Gyawu leads UAB in scoring with three goals and one assist for seven points. The Blazers are ranked 24th by College Soccer News and 25th by the NSCAA poll.This will be the third meeting between Clemson and UAB on the soccer field. The series is tied 1-1. Clemson won the first-ever meeting between the two schools 3-2 in 2001. Last season, UAB won 2-1 over the Tigers on August 27, 2011.
