Introducing Clemson Athletic’s new Athlete Recovery Center with designated areas for sports science, sports medicine, and nutrition. The ARC is a 10,000 square foot cutting-edge facility equipped with the latest technology and staffed by expert professionals dedicated to helping you optimize your recovery and achieve your athletic and team goals.
What is the ARC?

What is Red Light Therapy?
Red Light Therapy is used within the TheraLight 360 Beds in which red and infrared light is used to increase circulation and the process of syntheses within cellular energy to rid the body of radicals that cause oxidative stress!

The Wet Float is a sensory deprivation tank that allows athletes to float using Epsom salt in about a foot of water from between 40-55mins!

The Athlete Recovery Center overlooks the beautiful Lake Hartwell in which our very own Clemson Tigers Rowing Team uses for practice and competition! The ARC also sits between both the newly renovated Lacrosse and Rowing facilities, and is right across from the Gymnastics facility as well!

Meet Megan Cato
Megan is currently serving as the Wellness Coordinator for the ARC where she is committed to building a holistic student-athlete wellness experience. She graduated from Clemson with a Bachelors in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies. Megan continued her education at Clemson after graduation and pursued a Masters in Community Recreation, Sports, and Camp Management. She is 500 E-RYT certified with 5 years of Yoga leadership and has extensive experience in event planning and facility management. Megan has a passion for empowering others through health and wellness. She hopes to support the mental, physical, and emotional health of Clemson athletes with the addition of the ARC.
