TULSA, OK – Clemson participated in the ITA All-American Championships at Tulsa, OK Saturday and Sunday in the prequalifying segment of the tournament. Clemson’s Dominique Maden, Alejandro Augusto-Bueno, and Brent Lett advanced to the second round but were eliminated. A total of Nine Tigers participated in this tournament. The nation’s top players compete for the first men’s national title of the fall season at the ITA All-American Championships. For the ninth straight year, the University of Tulsa’s Michael D. Case Tennis Center is the site for this event. Qualifying matches will start on Sept. 30. The Tigers’ Hunter Harrington will compete in this segment of the tournament. A field of 64 singles players and 32 doubles teams will then compete in the main draw on Oct. 3.
Singles quarterfinalists, doubles finalists and consolation champions will receive an automatic entry into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships on Nov. 7-10, held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, NY.Saturday, September 28 – RESULTS Pre-Qualifying Singles – First Round Rodolfo Bustamante, TCU d.
