Clemson Hosts Virginia Tech Friday, #3 Virginia & Presbyterian College Sunday

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team hosts Virginia Tech on Friday, #3 Virginia and Presbyterian College on Sunday for senior day. The Tigers face Virginia Tech on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hoke Sloan Tennis Center. On Sunday the Tigers face Virginia at 11 a.m. and Presbyterian College at 5 p.m. Senior day festivities are set to take place before the Virginia match on Sunday. The Tigers are looking to build off two straight ACC wins last weekend over Boston College and Miami. Clemson defeated the Eagles on Friday afternoon at Hoke Sloan Tennis Center, 4-3. On Sunday Clemson took down Miami, 4-3, behind a clutch performance from senior Austin Ansari on court four.

Scouting Virginia Tech: The Hokies of Virginia Tech are 13-6 overall and 5-4 in ACC play, recurrently ranked 40th in the country. The overall series is 10-8, in favor of the Tigers.

Scouting Virginia: The University of Virginia is currently 18-3 overall on the season and 7-1 in ACC play. Virginia is currently ranked 3rd in the country, led by the 6th-ranked singles player, Thai-Son Kwiatkowski.

Scouting Presbyterian College: The Blue Hose of Presbyterian College are 12-13 overall on the year. Presbyterian play Winthrop on Friday before traveling to Clemson. The Tigers lead the all time series 33-14.
