CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team continues its 12 game home stand this Saturday when rival South Carolina visits, as well as South Carolina State. The Tigers face South Carolina at 11 a.m. and South Carolina State at 5 p.m. Live stats will be available at Periodic score updates will be provided via Twitter, @ClemsonMTennis.

Clemson is coming off a doubleheader sweep over Winthrop this past Friday, winning six out of the last seven matches. The Tigers won the first match against the Eagles, 4-1. Clemson then won their second match in commanding fashion, 4-0. Alex Favrot lead the Tigers going 2-0 on the weekend. Favrot was also 2-0 in doubles with senior Luke Johnson. The duo has tallied a 6-0 record together this season. Christian Harris also helped in clinching a point for the Tigers, breezing through number six singles, 6-2, 6-1.

Scouting South Carolina: South Carolina men’s tennis team is 5-6 on the season. The Gamecocks and Tigers will be meeting for the 106th time on Saturday morning. The Gamecocks currently hold the series lead over the Tigers. South Carolina will be led by 51st nationally ranked doubles team, Alex Fennel and Harrison O’Keefe.

Scouting South Carolina State: The Bulldogs of South Carolina State have only played one other match this season. This will be the first time ever that Clemson and South Carolina State meet for a tennis match.
