Clemson Defeats The Citadel 7-0

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team defeated The Citadel 7-0 in a men’s intercollegiate tennis match at Clemson, SC Tuesday.

The match was played indoors at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center on the Clemson campus. The Tigers improve to 3-0 on the year, and the Bulldogs are now 0-1 this season.

Gerardo Meza played number one singles for the Tigers for the third straight match and registered his third straight win at this flight.

Clemson will play host to Davidson at 12:00 p.m. at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center in the Tigers’ next action.

Today’s match was the 49th all-time meeting between Clemson and The Citadel on the tennis courts. Clemson now leads the series 34-14-1. The series started in 1930.
