CHESTNUT HILL, MA–Clement Reix defeated Louis Desmarteaux at number one singles 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 in clinching the match for the Tigers and giving 20th-ranked Clemson a 4-3 win over St. John’s in a men’s intercollegiate tennis match at Chestnut Hill, MA late Friday.
With the win, Clemson improves to 26-8 on the year. The Red Storm dropped to 12-7 on the season. Clemson will play Georgetown and Maryland on Sunday in a double header at College Park MD.
