D’Andrea Honored with Jerry Richardson Community MVP Award

Columbia, S.C. – Former Clemson administrator Bill D’Andrea was honored Wednesday evening at the Fifth Annual South Carolina Coaches for Charity, in Columbia, S.C. D’Andrea, who retired in late May, was Clemson’s recipient of the 2014 Jerry Richardson Community MVP Award for his 30 years of service to Clemson athletics.

Fisher DeBerry, South Carolina native and Hall of Fame former head football coach of the U.S. Air Force Academy, hosts the event through the Fisher DeBerry Foundation, which assists children of single-parent families. Football coaches from around the state, including Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney, come together for the event, all in the name of charity.
