    • Smith now has a share of Clemson’s record for most goals in a tournament. Smith is tied with Wolde Harris, who set the record in 1994.
  • Smith recorded his ninth point of the tournament thanks to his first-half goal.
    • This gives Smith the Clemson record for most points in a tournament. The previous record was eight, set by Wolde Harris in 1994.
  • Grayson Barber recorded his third assist of the tournament.
    • This gives Barber a share of Clemson’s record for most assists in a tournament. Barber’s now tied with Rivers Guthrie from 1994.
  • Barber set the Clemson record for most assists in an individual career (4) as the junior has contributed three in 2020 and one in 2019.
  • George Marks recorded his 25th victory in goal for Clemson.
    • Marks made his 35th start during Wednesday’s match.
  • Luis Felipe Fernandez-Salvador registered the third goal of his career and second of the season.
  • Alvaro Gomez made his 25th appearance as a member of Clemson’s program.
  • James Brighton made his 30th appearance for Clemson.
  • Isaiah Reid recorded his 15th appearance for Clemson.

SERIES HISTORY

  • Clemson earned its third ACC Tournament victory over Virginia on Wednesday. Clemson is now 3-5-2 against the Cavaliers in the series.
    • Clemson is 1-0-1 against Virginia in ACC Semifinal matches.
  • Clemson recorded its 25th win in the series, making Virginia the eighth opponent which Clemson has defeated 25 or more times.
