CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 11 Clemson men’s soccer team will play in its only home exhibition of the 2018 preseason on Tuesday night at 7 p.m., when the UAB Blazers visit Historic Riggs Field. The match is open to the public and admission is free.
The Tigers travelled to No. 10 Duke on Friday for their first exhibition of the preseason, which finished in a 0-0 tie after a hard-fought 90 minutes that saw 23 of the 27 players on Clemson’s roster getting playing time.
The Blazers finished the 2017 season with a 5-7-4 record and a ninth-place finish in the Conference USA standings. Clemson most recently faced UAB last year in another preseason exhibition that the Tigers won 3-0.
After Tuesday’s matchup with the Blazers, the Tigers will travel to Maryland for their final exhibition on Saturday before opening the 2018 season on the road against Creighton on Aug. 24.
