CLEMSON, S.C. โ€” The No. 18 Clemson Tigers will battle the Virginia Cavaliers at Historic Riggs Field on Saturday, October 15. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. with the match slated to stream on ACCNX.

The Tigers enter the match 8-3-1 following Tuesday’s 2-1 home loss to the UNCG Spartans. The Tigers currently sit in fourth place in the Atlantic Division of the ACC while Virginia (7-4-1, 3-1-1 ACC) sits second in the Coastal Division.

Saturday marks the 61st meeting between the two programs. Clemson is 25-29-6 all-time against the Cavaliers, with the Tigers holding a 94-83 advantage in total goals. Most recently, Clemson defeated Virginia 2-1 in 2020.ย 

Tigersโ€™ standout Ousmane Sylla has led the way for Clemson, scoring five goals and notching five assists in just ten matches thus far. He has tallied a point in seven of his ten games played this season and leads the ACC in points per game (1.50).ย 

He is joined at the top of Clemson’s scoring leaderboard by senior forward Mohamed Seye, who has assisted three of Sylla’s goals. He’s added two of his own and has also earned four points in two matches, bringing his point total on the season to ten. He’s tied for the conference lead in assists with six.

Virginia comes into the match following its 0-0 tie to No. 3 Duke on October 7.
