CLEMSON, S.C. โ€” The No. 23 Clemson Tigers will return home after two road matches to host UNC Greensboro on Tuesday, October 11. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. with the match slated to stream on ACCNX.

The Tigers enter the match 8-2-1 coming off a successful road trip in which they defeated North Carolina 1-0 and drew Pitt 1-1 in a span of five days. The Tigers currently sit in fourth place in the Atlantic Division of the ACC while UNCG (8-1-3, 2-0-0) sits atop the SoCon.

Clemson is 8-2 all-time against the Spartans, with the Tigers holding a 21-11 advantage in total goals. Most recently, UNCG handed Clemson its first loss of the 2021 season in a 3-1 result in Greensboro.ย 

Tigersโ€™ standout Ousmane Sylla has led the way for Clemson, scoring four goals and notching five assists in just eight matches thus far. He has tallied a point in six of his nine games played this season and is second in the ACC in points per game (1.45).ย 

He is joined at the top of Clemson’s scoring leaderboard by senior forward Mohamed Seye, who has assisted three of Sylla’s goals. He’s added two of his own and has also earned four points in two matches, bringing his point total on the season to ten. He’s tied for the conference lead in assists with six.

UNCG has won each of it last three games, most recently securing a 1-0 victory at VMI.
