CLEMSON, S.C. – No. 2 Clemson men’s soccer (11-2-2, 5-2-0 ACC) hits the road on Friday, traveling to Blacksburg, Va., for the final match of the regular season. The Tigers face off against the Virginia Tech Hokies (7-5-3, 1-5-1 ACC) in a 6:00 p.m. contest to be broadcast live on the ACC Network. 

The Tigers are coming off of back-to-back home wins in the last week, including a 6-1 ACC win over Syracuse last Friday night. Alex Meinhard was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday and the Tigers picked up a No. 2 ranking in the United Soccer Coaches Weekly Poll before downing Wofford, 2-1, on Senior Night on Tuesday.

Virginia Tech comes into Friday’s match following a 2-2 draw against Davidson on Tuesday and a 1-0 loss to Duke last Friday.
