CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 3 ranked Tigers (2-0-1) start ACC play with a Friday night matchup at Historic Riggs Field vs No. 10 Pitt (2-1-0). The matchup is set for a 6:00 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast on ACCNX and live stats are available.
Ransford Gyan recorded the first brace of the season in a 6-0 win, Friday night vs UAB with a goal netted in both halves. Nathan Richmond has scored in all three matches this season after not scoring a goal since 2023 vs Boston College due to injuries. The Tigers improved its record to 2-0-1 and now land fifth in the ACC heading into conference play.
Clemson and Pitt last faced off in 2022 at Ambrose Urbanic Field in Pittsburgh, Pa. Adam Lundegard scored the first goal of the match in the 44′ with an assist from Alvaro Gomez. The Panthers even the score in the 50′ of the second half. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
