Dane Richards called up to the Jamaican Full National Team

CLEMSON, SC–Clemson men’s soccer player and rising senior Dane Richards has been called up to the Jamaican Full National Team for their upcoming game against the United States, in Cary, NC on April 11.

“Dane had an exceptional transitional year at the Division I level after being named the National Junior College Player of the Year at San Jacinto Junior College,” said Clemson Head Coach Trevor Adair. “He was a major reason the Tigers advanced to the College Cup this past fall. We are happy that the Jamaican Football Federation will have a chance to evaluate him in the upcoming game.”

In 2005, Richards scored 12 goals and had eight assists for 32 points for the Tigers. He also had seven game-winners last fall.
