Clemson Wins Memphis Men’s Soccer Invitational

CLEMSON, SC–Clemson won the Memphis Men’s Soccer Invitational with two wins over Memphis and Oral Roberts this past weekend.

Clemson defeated Memphis 2-0 on Friday and Oral Roberts 2-0 on Sunday. This was the 25th time in school history that the Tigers have won a regular season tournament.

The Tigers’ senior, defender Alan O’Hara was named the MVP of the tournament. The Tigers registered two shutouts in the weekend action.

Joining O’Hara on the all-tournament team were teammates Micah Usry, Phil Marfuggi, and Mark Buchholz.

Clemson will play host to top-ranked Maryland Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field in the Tigers’ next action.
