Clemson to play host to Notre Dame in NCAA Men’s Final 16

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s soccer team will play host to Notre Dame on Sunday, November 27, at 2:00 p.m. in the NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament’s Round of 16 at Historic Riggs Field.

Clemson has a 13-5-3 record overall this season. Dane Richards leads the Tigers in scoring with 10 goals and eight assists for 28 points.

Both teams, unseeded in the tournament, won over higher seeded teams Tuesday. Notre Dame defeated third-seeded Indiana 2-0 on Tuesday night. Clemson won over 14th-seeded N.C. State 3-0 at Raleigh on Tuesday afternoon.

Notre Dame has a 12-7-3 record overall this season. The Irish are led in scoring by Joe Lapira with seven goals and five assists for 19 points.

Clemson has been to the NCAA Tournament 25 times in the program’s history. The Tigers have been in the final 16 a total of 21 times.

Ticket prices for Sunday’s game are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for student age and under.
