Clemson to play host to Lindsey Wilson Saturday

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s soccer team will play host to Lindsey Wilson in a men’s exhibition soccer match on Saturday, April 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Riggs Field. Admission is free to this event.

Lindsey Wilson won many seven national championships in the last 11 years in the NAIA including last season, (1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2005).

Clemson advanced to the NCAA Final Four last season and finished the year with a 15-6-3 record overall.

“Everyone in college soccer will be interested in the outcome of this game,” said Clemson Head Coach Trevor Adair. “This match will feature two excellent programs battling for national pride. This will be a great match for college soccer enthusiasts. We want to encourage all of our fans to come out support us as we build on our momentum created from our championship run from last season.”
