Clemson to play host to Duke Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson-Duke men’s soccer match scheduled for Friday night has been postponed because of inclement weather.

The match will be played on Saturday afternoon (October 28) at 1:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field on the Clemson campus.

Clemson is ranked eighth and the Blue Devils are ranked second nationally.

Clemson has an 11-3-2 record overall and a 2-3-2 mark in the ACC. The Tigers are led in scoring by Dane Richards with 10 goals and eight assists for 28 points. Frederico Moojen has ten goals and two assist for 22 points.

Duke has a 13-2-1 mark overall and a 5-1-1 mark in the ACC. The Blue Devils have won six matches in a row. Mike Grella leads Duke in scoring with 10 goals and three assists for 23 points. Spencer Wadsworth has six goals and 11 assists for 23 points.

This will be the 44th meeting between Clemson and Duke on the soccer field. The series is tied 20-20-3.
