CLEMSON TO ENTERTAIN WAKE FOREST SUNDAY
CLEMSON, SC-The Clemson men’s soccer team will play host to Wake Forest Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.
Clemson will enter the match with a 5-5-2 record overall, and a 2-2 mark in the ACC. Wake Forest has an 8-3 record overall and a 1-2 slate in league play. The Demon Deacons are ranked sixth by Soccer America and eighth by the NSCAA.
Clemson is led in scoring by Paul Souders with three goals and four assists for 10 points. Wake Forest is led in scoring by Scott Sealy and Tomy Szcrypiorski as both players have four goals and one assist each for nine points.
This will be the 27th meeting between the two schools on the soccer field. Clemson leads the overall series 16-8-2. In matches played at Clemson, the Tigers lead the series 8-3.
