CLEMSON, SC— The Clemson men’s soccer team will appear twice on the Fox Soccer Channel this fall as part of the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) Match of the Week.
Clemson will play host to Duke on Friday, September 28, in the first television match for the Tigers. The Clemson-Maryland match in College Park, MD on Friday, October 5 will also be televised. Clemson is the only school to appear twice in this series of matches.
Last year, Clemson’s match with North Carolina was featured on the Fox Soccer Channel and the Tigers had 7,012 people at the match, the second largest crowd in school history. Clemson defeated the Tar Heels in this match 1-0 on September 15.
Under an on-going agreement with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), Fox Soccer Channel’s live and exclusive NSCAA College Match of the Week coverage will include nine men’s matches on Fridays. There will also be bonus coverage of three men’s matches played on Wednesday evenings throughout the season.

Clemson will open the 2007 season with a match against South Carolina on Friday, August 31, at 7:30 pm at Historic Riggs Field.
