Clemson Men’s Soccer Team Will Open ACC Play at Wake Forest Friday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s soccer team will open the ACC segment of its 2010 schedule Friday night as the Tigers will travel to Wake Forest for a 7:00 p.m. match with the 12th-ranked Deacons.

Clemson is 0-2 on the year having dropped matches against South Carolina and East Tennessee State. Wake Forest is 0-1-1 this season. The Deacons are ranked 12th in the latest NSCAA poll and 14th by Soccer America.

This will be the 36th meeting between Clemson and Wake Forest on the soccer field. The series is tied 16-16-3. Clemson is 8-6-3 over the years when playing at Wake Forest.
