The Clemson men’s soccer team hosted Campbell Thursday night in the Tigers’ second exhibition contest of the preseason. Clemson won 2-0 at Clemson’s soccer practice fields in front of a supportive crowd.
The Tigers jumped out to an early lead in the second minute after a great finish inside the box. Sophomore Saul Chinchilla scored Clemson’s second goal of the first half, and the match, around the 25th minute when he fired home a clinical finish from the right side of the 18 yard mark.
Clemson wraps up it’s exhibition season on Saturday at UAB. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Live stats will be available.
The regular season home opener comes on Friday, Aug. 28 for Clemson against East Tennessee State.
