Clemson, S.C.– The Clemson men’s soccer team closes out its slate of preseason matches with a home exhibition match against the Presbyterian College Blue Hose. The match is set for Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field on the campus of Clemson University.
The Tigers enter the match after having defeated Coastal Carolina this past Tuesday night in Conway, S.C. Clemson came away with a 3-1 victory, scoring two goals in the first half and promptly responding after conceding in the second half.
After Saturday’s match against the Blue Hose, the Tigers will look toward opening the regular season at home against South Carolina on Friday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. The match against the Gamecocks will kick-off the Palmetto Series between the two schools. Clemson has won the past five matches in the series.
