Clemson, S.C.- The Clemson men’s soccer team hosted their annual banquet on Tuesday night to honor their 2025 season accomplishments. In their campaign, the Tigers made history with four Clemson United drafted in the first round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft in Kwaku Agyabeng, Lukas Magnason, Wahabu Musah and Ransford Gyan.
Five Tigers were recognized by the ACC as all-conference selections, including Kwaku Agyabeng who was named to the All-Freshman Team along with Ransford Gyan being named to the first team, Wahabu Musah and Nathan richmond to the second team and Misei Yoshizawa and Agyabeng to the third team. Clemson had a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist and ACC Midfielder of the Year for the second-straight year in Ransford Gyan.
Off the pitch, the Tigers had eight players named to the ACC All-Academic Team and three named to the CSC Academic All-District team. Clemson recorded a 3.43 fall semester GPA to record the 23rd straight semester with a 3.0 of higher.
Head Coach Mike Noonan also gave out several team awards. Ransford Gyan earned the Dalton Family MVP as well as the Offensive MVP, while Remi Okunlola earned the defensive MVP award and Matthias Leib earned the Ratchford Coach’s Achievement Award. Noonan awarded the Newcomer of the Year to midfielder Kwaku Agyabeng, and Scout Team Player of the Year to Duncan Wilson which is awarded to a player that was committed to preparing the team for upcoming matches on a daily basis, pushed the starting eleven in training, and was always ready when called upon.
The Keith Tormey 12th Man/Solid Orange award was given to Aiden Hampton for the third time in his Clemson campaign which is awarded to an individual on the team who pursued excellence on and off the field by representing the Men’s Soccer program in a positive manner. The Service Award was given to the team’s academic advisor Lindsey Ricketts for being an individual external to the team who demonstrated outstanding service directly to the Men’s Soccer program through their dedication, hard work, and efforts.
After celebrating what was a remarkable year for the team, the 2026 Tigers began their pre-season the following day with a spring match against Portland Hearts of Pine at Historic Riggs Field Wednesday night.
