Rowing History
- “I started officially rowing my freshman year of high school. I started rowing because I had been surrounded by the sport my whole life. Both of my parents rowed at Temple University and my dad coached High School rowing, so I would spend afternoons after Kindergarten at the boathouse. My older cousin Natalie also rowed and I remember going to her races and seeing the boats go down the river and thinking I wanted to be out there one day. I also wanted to try rowing out as an off season cross train for swimming, as I was a swimmer throughout elementary school, middle and high school.”
